Kaththi‘s motion poster surprises us with its creative design as an entire city of Chennai is generated using small paper clippings. From buildings, to trains, buses,roads to important landmarks like Napier bridge, Kapaleeshwar temple, Kathipaara junction, Chennai Central and LIC building have been marvelously recreated draped stylishly in news headlines.
The poster gives us a few hints about the story. If you observe minutely you will find enough clues about Kaththi‘s story. Experts predict that locations shown in motion poster will play an important part in the movie. Look out for the news headline carrying the name Vijay’s character in it.
The background score by Anirudh Ravichander is gobsmackingly good. Kolaveri Di composers score gels well with the motion poster and manages to induce the feeling of awe.
Last but not the least is the way makers reveal Illaya Thalapathy Vijay’s face at the end. As the poster slowly zooms out of the Chennai city made out of newspapers, we are amazed to see Vijay’s face emerging from it.
